What people
actually say
Real Google reviews, quoted exactly as written, including the 4 that give us one or two stars.

The rating, and the shape of it
Most of our reviews are five stars, a few are one, and there is not much in between. The reviews below are grouped by what they are about rather than by rating, so you can read what people think of the tables, the price, the room and the staff in turn.
Nothing has been shortened to its kind half, and nothing has been corrected.

The tables
The most repeated subject in six years of reviews, and the one nobody argues about.
“Snooker tables are in excellent condition, and they have 8, so there's usually at least one free. Other tables look good but don't play on them. No alcohol though, but not the end of the world. Sometimes they have music videos going, sometimes sport, sometimes nothing.”

“Tables are good and would probably rate 5 stars if it wasn't that expensive. Pool was $8 an hr just before covid, and now crazy went up to 18 or something like that !”

“You need to provide cue for American pool table, not all for snooker cue. Very hard and uncomfortable to play on American pool table with 2 1/4 inch balls with snooker cue. If you provide the American pool tables there, then you need to provide the proper cue as well. And that American pool table with blue clothe need proper lighting, the light from your ceiling is not bright enough to play with.”

The price, and the counter
Where the complaints are. Most are about not knowing the price beforehand, which is why the rate card is on this page and on the wall.
“Nothing flash or fancy, but has everything you need at a reasonable price”

“Absolutely robbery charged $10 for a glove without prior notice. Charged $5 at the end. Rude attitude implies that I'm having issue with my brain absolutely rubbish plate never coming back again and not recommend to anyone else”

“Went there and checked time he literally charged extra for time we were standing at counter for table and when we asked him for the time he literally said I counted your time when you just entered”

“It was ok. Went there for a date with a lady friend and the service was OK. The guy behind the counter doesn't speak much Enlish which was a bit, how your going, but apart from that the prices per hour was reasonable. $14 per hour 8 ball.”

The room
Dark, quiet and not for everybody. Both of those readings are below.

“Not my kinda pool hall. The vibe was extremely weird. It wasn't very welcoming at all. Apart from there being a tonne of pool tables, had not much else going for it unfortunately.”

The people behind the counter
Friendly and humble in most accounts, and not in all of them.

“Venue was wecoming, staff were lovely tables ok even the fact that they coudlnt serve alcohol was fine... But the let down was the toilet... I've seen public toilets that are cleaner then what this venue offers its players. The only reason we won't be back.”

“Tables were great! However the place itself could use some Restorations.. some music playing would be great and there isn't a big variety of food or drinks.”

On the price,
so there is no surprise
Most of the complaints above are about the same thing: finding out what something cost after agreeing to it. So here it is, up front. A table is $18 an hour, snooker or pool. Cues, rest, spider, chalk and balls are included. A snooker glove is $10 extra.
The clock starts when you break, not when you walk in. It stops when you rack your cue and tell us you are done. Charged to the quarter hour, rounded down. Card and cash are both fine.
